We drive football
Everyone loves football – Volkswagen loves Football. Volkswagen is the official mobility partner of the German Football Association and partner of the DFB cup, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), and various other teams and associations. C3 gathers these activities under the claim “We drive football”, and Hooray sets a part of this in motion.
In addition to the attention-grabbing campaign “We drive football, we drive diversity”, the videos featured a variety of diverse colours. Here is a small selection. For example, the opening film for Euro 2021, “Exploring Europe’s Football Soul”.
Social assets for the Euro 2021
22 players. Four sets. Three hours. During a video shoot with Germany’s national team, we filmed various gestures, statements, and interviews. From these, we generated a total of 170 social assets for broadcast during the European Championship.

The ball has stopped, our team-spirit hasn’t
2020. The ball wasn’t rolling, the Euros were cancelled, no one knew when we would play again. At the beginning of the first lockdown, we produced a commercial for Volkswagen with Jogi Löw to lift spirits in dark times.
The pandemic required new modes of communication. Jogi Löw recorded in an empty studio in Freiburg, the material was edited remotely and it only took nine days to turn our idea into a completed ad – after all, we had to react to the moment fast with strong video communication.
